upcoming food policy event in NYC

Ok, this might be shameless self-promotion, but I assure you this event will be fascinating. My primary area of expertise is in food distribution (more specifically, organic food), and who buys and sells more organic food than Whole Foods? So if you will be in NYC on Feb 16, think about attending. The event is called “Creating a sustainable food chain from farm to fork,” and will be at 6:30 pm (for more details, follow the link.)

Please join the Wagner Food Policy Alliance in welcoming Walter Robb, Co-CEO of Whole Foods, and Carolyn Dimitri, Professor of Food Studies at Steinhardt for a lively conversation on organics, ethical supply chain management and the role of institutions, such as Whole Foods, in supporting a sustainable food chain.
